The communal structure that humans evolved in is fragmenting, from large family groups, to small nuclear families, with damaging effects. We're losing mystical communion and thus community as well.
Did we live before our mortal lives? Was there a premortality? Do we bring God's children into the world? Yes, but not literally.
When the finite body dies, is that the end of our person, or do we continue on? Yes and no.
